My approach to fight & intimacy work celebrates the diversity of human bodies in their individual capabilities and truths, as well as a focus on consent and safety for actors, crew, and production. I specialize in work that is weird, queer, and irreverent.
I spent much of my childhood studying martial arts, and so it was only natural to continue my martial work when I began working in the performing arts. I began my studies of intimacy in the performing arts after realizing the overlap between the arts of simulated intimacy and simulated violence–the need for trust, safety, and consent.
